Shaped like a large wrinkled black olive pit, Tonka Beans are prized for their extraordinary flavour and aroma which is reminiscent of vanilla and cinnamon with cherry and almond notes. Use as a vanilla substitute, natural flavouring for custards or in ice cream. Adds a hint of delicious exoticism to chocolate desserts or in ganache for filled chocolates or truffles. Infuse in sugar syrups to make cocktails.
